Initial impressions, as I just received, very nice set, zero issues, feel and weight appears very well done and balanced. No scratches, discolorations or blemishes noticed on either sets. (Bought 2 sets). For the other reviews mentioning the size of the larger spoon, I see no issue. It's what I've been used to for over 50 years, and would not expect anything smaller in the larger spoon. Afterall, there are smaller spoons in the set also. Initial assessment is that they are quality flatware and well worth the price. Will update if issues develop.

We first purchased this Towle pattern in 2015. I love the pattern and the weight of this flatware. It was used extensively and put in the dishwasher probably thousands of times and held up extremely well. I've been ordering AND returning new flatware over the last couple of weeks from well-known manufacturers, none of which had the weight of my old set. Based upon some reviews I was hesitant to order this same set in 2022 as some were stating it wasn't as good as sets made 5+ years ago. I'm so glad I gave it a chance! I took pictures of new and old place settings for comparison. 1st picture old set on bottom new on top. Size is pretty much identical. 2nd picture pairs old and new utensils paired up to each other. 3rd & 4th pictures show pattern which is a little different but not too drastic. Last picture shows thickness of end of knife. As far as weight goes the new ones are a bit heavier as the old ones have most likely worn down a bit with age. For me, weight is very important as I like the feeling of something substantial. Other sets were very light and felt cheap.If you had the Stephanie pattern from years ago and enjoyed the Towle quality, I highly recommend giving the new issue a try.

This flatware set feels like it is expensive and substantial. I tested alot of brands and makers to find new silverware for daily use and the Towle is definitely the winner in weight and style by far! The silverware is easy to hold and has held up well. The knives cut meat and vegetables easily during meal. I love the oversized spoons and they are enjoyable to eat from, especially for ice cream. The teaspoon and forks are also just the right size to be easy to use for meals. Very much worth it. These are legitimately the best weighted and functional silverware I could have purchased. Highly recommend.

I picked up a 20 pc set at a retail store several years ago and it's just as beautiful as it was new. I needed additional pieces and where else but amazon could I find another 20 pc set for such a low price. Very durable, polished surface, heavy weight stainless steel comparable to much high priced flatware. Couldn't be happier!

I trust this brand. The quality is top notch and easily matches or exceeds much pricier cutlery. I also like that Towle has clean, modern designs like these that blend right in in today's homes. Very satisfied with this purchase and will continue to look out for new releases from them.

Lovely minimalistic design, 18/0 stainless, does not rust in the dish washer. The large spoon is kind of humongous (both spoons look slightly different from the photo), nice weight (not too heavy, not too light). Definitely will be purchasing another set.
