My 25 month old has been playing with these for about 6 months now and still continuing. It’s hard to blow at first but to be honest so do instruments, this teaches them how to blow so strong even birthday candles don’t stand a chance! Great for fine motor skills.

I was reluctant to purchase these items after reviewing some of the other reviews, but it was close to Christmas and I had to make a choice. I am really happy I did my 4 year old loves these musical instruments. Contrary to other reviews getting sound out of each instrument was easy for my child. They have proven to be quite robust and have not broken from random dropping or being thrown and are still going strong. I do reccomend this product.

These are beautiful (plastic) instruments. I bought them for my 3 year old because he’s obsessed with instruments. They have been his favorite toy! Only issue is the mouthpieces and the “bell” of the come off so easily. We plan to glue them with heavy duty glue. That’s something the manufacturer could easily fix. It does make a decent little sound and the buttons on the instruments change the sound. Again it’s plastic not brass and they’re 3 pieces for $50 so lower your expectations. These have been stepped on by a 3 year old and have not cracked or anything. Just like I said the mouth pieces and trumpet bell come off so easily.

These instruments need the child to be able to have good control of their lips. The mouth piece on the trumpet is “true”. My younger grandson could only use the saxophone.

We were so excited to get these. Our little one is autistic and obsessed with musical instruments. This is a good way to introduce them to music. They all make similar sounds, so one doesn’t deviate from the other to much, but it’s fun for them to play with.

Bought for my kids for Christmas because my kid wanted a toy saxophone. It makes an ok sound but it’s hard to do and the material is crap, very easily breakable. Pass.

This was going to a Christmas present for my 2-year old but he found where I was hiding them and opened them up. He loves that they actually make noise but he still has trouble playing the trumpet. I also showed him videos for jazz bands and he pretends to play along with them. I love that 3 instruments come together because my husband and I are able to play along with our son and it’s like we are a pretend little family jazz band.
