The instrument itself is well-made. The sections fit together perfectly as expected. I am not an experienced recorder player (read: student). That said, the spacing of the holes is a challenge, and that seems to be a reviewer comment common to all Tenor recorders because of their length, so yamaha and every other tenor recorder will exhibit this quality. The thumb support clips-on and can be positioned anywhere, which is nice, and stays-put (also nice). It was direct-shipped from Japan and arrived in (eastern US) less than 1 week. Would give 4 1/2 stars if available - points off for the fingering chart printed on rice-paper - supply a link to a multi-language web-site with instructions...

Compre está flauta y he quedado contento. Tiene un sonido delicado en las notas agudas y potente en las notas graves. Además, puedes tocar un buen tiempo sin que se obstruya por la condensación y la saliva (a diferencia del Yamaha que se obstruye rápidamente). Sin embargo, se necesita ejercitar el estiramiento de dedos para poder tocar con comodidad ya que los agujeros están algo distantes pero no tanto como el de la tenor Yamaha.
