In the course of my car repairs, I originally purchased this genuine Toyota crankshaft seal (plan was to just replace the three seals on the timing belt side of the engine when I had to replace the timing belt and water pump), but then I decided to just go ahead and buy a new oil pump as well (given that it was down there and apart on an engine with 295,000 miles... turns out I made the right decision, the oil pump would have probably failed before the next timing belt change).Through that process, and the lack of cohesive seal/gasket kits, I wound up with TWO other crankshaft seals. One I can tell you off the bat was INCREDIBLY inferior to this seal. The other was, visually, similar, but this "felt" better. My brother (the mechanic in the operation) agreed.

Worked perfectly on my front crank seal on my 2001 Toyota camry 4 cyl gas engine. Fit great, and original Toyota part. Perfect mirror of the OEM one that came out.
