I would give it 5 stars if I could have chosen the color, even if the color I wanted cost a little more. Interesting kaleidoscope.

The plastic pieces just move. There is no easily seen kaleidoscope effect. If you hold it perpendicular to the floor (table, lap, etc.) and look straight down (like looking through a microscope, there is a hint of kaleidoscope effect. Problem is beads are really big and must be held over a light/bright covering to remotely see the effects. Major disappointment.
