I bought the refurbished offering to save a few bucks. They are working as expected, sending the internet through the house's wiring, from where my cable modem is located to both a family room and master bedroom. What I like most is that there are three (3) ethernet ports on the receiver, which allows me to run hard wire to two desktops and a streaming box from one receiver. I was also able to pair up an older TP Link receiver with the new transmitter unit, allowing me to run a hard wire internet connection to the wall-mounted TV in the family room. The outlet is behind the TV on the wall so is not visible. I t's good to know that additional receivers could be use for other rooms if desired, rather than rely on wifi. I prefer to leave the wifi bandwith for things like security cameras, tablets, phones, etc. Having used TP Link devices in the past, I was pretty confident that these would work and they certainly do.

Me ahorró apenas 15 Mbps, en una conexión de 200. El aparato wifi tampoco se conecta con el router a través de la conexión inalámbrica, algo que limita mucho la extensión de rango de la red.

There seems to be a mismatch in firmware and software.the printed password fails. The refresh process failed to set the device to factory defaults. There was no documentation on how to hard reset. It took detailed inspection to find the reset access. After reset and update it seems to be working nicely with new passwords etc.

I have AT&T Arris Fiber cable modem Wi-Fi range is 20ft. I have unreachable Wi-Fi areas. I plug TP-Link AV1300 Powerline Wi-Fi Extender it covers up to 4000sqft. It has dual bands (2.4ghz & 5ghz) Wi-Fi able to connect devices. Inaddition, it has 3 ethernet ports. It can turn any routers into internet mesh with any TP-Link products. I recommend TP-Link.

They do work when plugged in, but the speed is way, way slower than real Ethernet connection. I got about 1/5 vs Ethernet. MoCA adapters are the real solution if you want actual performance!

I had an issue where I wanted to have internet in my detached garage. Unfortunately I did not have the time, money, or desire to run an ethernet cable underground. I found this option and figured I would give it a try. I purchased the renewed TP-Link AV1300 and when it came in I was able to get the system up and running in less than 10 minutes. The only issue I had while completing the setup was that not all my outlets were on the same circuit as the transmitter. If they were it would have only taken me 5 minutes to have the system up and running.Great product, so glad I bought it!
