Installed in a 2004 911 GT3 in April 2025 and dropped 40lbs off of the full size battery that was installed previously. I will update this post as time goes on, but so far, so good. My only note so far is that the battery percentage indicator is not linear. I.e., the actual "charge" between say 80-90% is much greater than between 40-50%.

This TPE LiFePO4 Group 48 battery I found for just $319 on Amazon is a full 25 lbs lighter than the 40lb OEM battery on the Corvette C8 Z06, which is positioned high in the front trunk over the passenger footwell. The 25 lb weight savings improves handling, acceleration, and braking, without affecting reliability. Plus, it has 1100 Cranking Amps compared to the stock lead battery's whimpy 750 Crank Amps. Best car battery you can buy. I replaced my OEM Lead acid battery with this one. It will out live my EV. 5 year warranty means no routine 3-5 year replacements. Weight is just 11 pounds!

Posts are backwards compared to normal battery. Battery is a tad bigger than normal battery with lip all the way around bottom of battery (for holding battery down), and alittle taller with center section of this battery sticking up. Works great.

Do not buy this battery if you do not want to have a serious car accident. The battery has BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (BMS) that can disconnect the battery from the car and killed the car alternator. That is what happened to me. I bought the battery on 03/03/2024 and installed it into my car on the month of May of 2024.I do not like to write reviews, but I decided to write this review to save lives. My review is based on the experience I have of using the battery in five months. While I was driving on the road with my wife, the Battery Managements System disconnected the battery from the car and killed the alternator. The car lost total electric power. We almost have serious car accidents, but luckily we did not. The car was tolled to the car repair shop. The generator and the battery were replaced at a cost of $1,000.00. I give the Lithium Battery one Star because of the Battery Management System (BMS).I got in touch to the Seller and Amazon after the incident, they were very helpful. The Seller refunded the amount I paid for the battery. Although I lost $1,000.00 in repair cost, but I am happy that we are alive.The manufacturer should recall the battery and fix the Battery Management System (BMS) before selling them as car batteries.
