I needed a cheap 2.4ghz extender to get a wifi signal to the front of my garage for some tapo smart lights I have been experimenting with. An older generation model at a low price was perfect. It didn't need to be fast. It only needed to relay a signal from the home network about 40 feet away from it to a couple of wifi bulbs 10 feet away from it. After configuration, it plugged into an open socket in the garage ceiling next to the garage door opener.It worked perfectly. I also gave the relayed signal a different SSID so the bulbs and their tiny antennas would not get confused by stray weaker connections from further away on the main network. 5ghz was turned off as not needed. I purchased an Amazon Return and saved a few dollars, too.

Bisogna fare attenzione nel prender l'extender giusto... RE300 V1 ha solo OneMesh mentre la V2 e L'RE330 sono sia EasyMesh che OneMesh... Detto questo il 330 è ottimo per l'uscita Ethernet.

If you have a TP-link router that can support mesh and the app tether, no brainier. Been using an off brand but decent extender with an interesting setup process. I was seeing about 10-20 Mbps. intermittent. Installing this product and setup with the app was super easy and took less than 10 minutes. Now I get a consistent 40-55 Mbps. I am in a 1900 built house with many obstructions, on the second floor, about 30 feet away from the router (18 from the repeater). I am using an Archer AX10 (wifi 6 and $60). My internet connection is 300 Mbps. Fully recommend. Do the research.

Unless you know how to get these working, do not buy. There were no instructions in either box. They are complicated to get working. After lots of time spent online we managed to get these two working. BUYER BEWARE.

I had a weak spot in my home Wi-Fi. This fixed my issue. It was easy to set up and within a few minutes I had full bars on my computer’s Wi-Fi. My wi-fi router is also TP-Link so this made things even easier.

Does not work that great in a house built in the 60s Modem shows a low signal to the farthest room, extender makes it worse have one room where it just shows the increase of 10% extender is 20 feet from modem.

I had such a problem making wifi work at the far end of my house.This took me five minutes to setup with the same name as my regular wifi.It's on the other side of the wall roughly from my router, and the signal now works great 65 ' away down the hallway.And such a great deal refurb.
