Redefining Wi-Fi Routers

Experience the pinnacle of wireless performance with Archer BE700. With its exceptional 15Gbps tri-band WiFi 7 speed, this router sets new standards in connectivity, offering lightning-fast speeds, significantly reduced latency compared to WiFi 6 routers, support for the 6 GHz frequency band, and an impressive array of ports including a 10G WAN port, a 2.5G LAN port, and three 1G LAN ports. Archer BE700 is the ultimate solution for demanding users who crave unparalleled speed and uncompromising performance.

⌂Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Higher capacity is based on laboratory test data, which analyzed the connections of different devices on the 6 GHz, 5 GHz, and 2.4 GHz bands simultaneously. These devices simulated a typical home scenario by running simultaneous applications in the same room that included 4K video, 1080p video, 720p video, file downloading, web browsing, IP cameras, and other IoT devices. Actual wireless data throughput, wireless coverage, and connected devices are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of internet service provider factors, network conditions, client limitations, and environmental factors, including building materials, obstacles, volume and density of traffic, and client location. Actual network speed may be limited by the rate of the product's Ethernet WAN or LAN port, the rate supported by the network cable, internet service provider factors, and other environmental conditions. §10 Gbps internet speeds require compatible service plans and equipment. Actual network speed may be limited by the rate of the product's Ethernet WAN or LAN port, the rate supported by the network cable, internet service provider factors, and other environmental conditions. ◇Use of Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), and features including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 320 MHz Bandwidth, 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, and MU-MIMO requires clients to also support the corresponding features. The 320 MHz bandwidth is only available on the 6 GHz band. Simultaneously, the 320 MHz bandwidth on the 6 GHz band and 160 MHz bandwidth on the 5 GHz band may be unavailable in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions. Double channel width and speed refer to 320 MHz compared to 160 MHz for Wi-Fi 6 routers. *HomeShield includes both basic and advanced features. Advanced features require a paid subscription. For details, visit tp-link.com/homeshield △TP-Link EasyMesh-compatible products can network with other devices that use EasyMesh. Failed connections may be due to firmware conflicts of different vendors. The EasyMesh-compatible function is still being developed on some models and will be supported in subsequent software updates. Wi-Fi generations represent the wireless standard IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be. All devices need to support 802.11 Wi-Fi protocols. A separate modem or gateway may be required. PPPoE, Static IP, and Dynamic IP are supported. PPTP and L2TP may also be supported under certain configurations. This router may not support all the mandatory features as ratified in the IEEE 802.11be specification. Further software upgrades for feature availability may be required.

Great, fast speed. Way better than the old 6 wifi router I had before.

I don't have any devices that support Wi-Fi 7. YET. It's definitely in my near future, and this router is ready for the challenge. It has many features for advanced networking and firewalls. I really like the ability to set up not only my internal network for family, but I can provide a separate connection for guests to give them internet access without me worrying about them snooping around other parts of my network. There's also the option to turn an iOT network so your thermostat, Alexa, and other internet devices don't have access to your stuff, but they can access the internet to do their work for you.I recently had fiber internet installed in my home, and this router can handle the 2 Gb/s speeds. My internal network is currently only a 1 Gb/s network, but I have 1 device with a faster NIC. I plugged it in directly to the router and was getting the advertised speed from my ISP both down AND up!One feature I couldn't find and was surprised was the ability to have a cold standby option for a secondary internet connection. This feature is often available on routers in this price range, but I couldn't find it in the menus. Since fiber is brand new to my neighborhood, I expect some outages and have actually kept my cable subscription for a bit since I work from home and the internet is my lifeline. Not a huge issue to unplug one and plug-in another, but it would be nice if the router did this automatically and switched back to the faster connection when it was available again.Overall I'm happy with this router and it has most of the features I'm looking for and I'm ready for my future WiFi 7 devices and when I finally upgrade my internal wired network.

I have to say that I am surprised at how well this single router covers my home in WiFi despite it being at only one point in the house. In all but one really bad spot in my house I am getting much better than expected coverage. And that one bad spot could be covered because this router supports mesh networking as even most consumer grade units do now days. Standing in the next room over from the router, I was able to get 830-875Mbps speeds from my 1Gb internet connection. And still over 450Mbps from across the house in a decent WiFi coverage spot. For a single point of WiFi in my house, that is pretty darn good IMO. The selection of ethernet LAN/WAN ports is pretty decent, especially a 10Gb port for downlinks if you have a 10Gb copper switch which is getting cheap fast these days. I am not sure what version of MLO it is using. I only have two WiFi 7 devices at the moment, but these speeds really make me want to update all my devices again. It was pretty easy to setup and adding a mesh point seems like it would be considerably easier. All in all for the price, this seems to be a decent deal. I am not sure how much extra mesh points would cost, but as long as they are not full routers and more just repeaters at a lower price point, this could be a great option for many types of houses.

Physically, this router has a relatively small profile, and unlike many other routers on the market the antenna were built-in. The lights along the front are pretty meaningless, and can be turned off (or on!) with the handy button on the front. The design is minimalist and looks good enough that most people won't feel like they need to hide it.Setup was pretty easy. Plug the router into the wall with the attached power cord, and your modem to the router with the attached ethernet cable to the port labeled "10G Internet". A QR code included in the box links you to the download page for the Tether app. After setting up an account in the app, the process to add your new router relatively quick, though it does require/encourage you to scan the QR code on the back of the router.Configuring the router is also pretty easy through the app, allowing normal configuration setting for 2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz, and 6 GHz, as well as EasyMesh to connect with other mesh-compatible routers. There are also parental controls that are somewhat basic unless you subscribe to a premium package. If you're not looking for granular control, the options included will probably be fine.Signal strength is excellent, though the speeds for the 2.4 GHz network are a bit slower than I would like.Overall, this is a good router with some good features. With newer WiFi 7 features and a good physical design, this is a solid option for home use, even if it is a bit pricy.

This is the perfect router. I could not believe all of the features that are packed into this thing. It's actually over kill and way more that what most people will typically need but it's good insurance that you will be future proofed and ready for the next generation of connectivity. It has 3 1Gb LAN ports, 1 Gb LAN port and 1 10 GB WAN port. I couldn't imagine what I would do with a 10Gb WAN connection. My provider can only go up to 1.3Gb but in the future when that goes up I'll be ready. It also has mesh networking and a load of next generation security features. I could carry on about all of the different options but then I will be here all day. If you care about being ready for the future and/or being protected then this is your go to investment. The price is steep but I work in IT and I can say that this is a good deal for how advanced it is.
