The Blueprint for a Heavy Oil Ball
The Archetype brings to you a ball reaction that was previously unseen in your typical hook monster. It uses the I-Core 3.0 Slim asymmetrical core. This core design was modeled after the Paragon core. We took the original I-Core and removed mass from the perimeters of the main body, making it tall and slim. This helps raise the RG and create more backend movement!

The Model for Strikes
We tested a number of coverstocks and coverstock preps with this one and it paired the best with QR-11 Solid at a 500, 1500 Siaair Micro Pad finish. The ball maintains traction throughout the front part of the lane and still has some pop for the backend to kick your corners out. It is truly a reaction you have to see in person!

I have a 12 lb Archetype Solid and it looks, rolls, and sounds HUGE when hitting the pins! Even though it's a solid ball for heavy oil, I find it to be extremely controllable and versatile in most conditions. I can play anywhere on the lane with it. That's something that I can't do with many balls. I just started bowling this year and the Archetype keeps me in the 170s. I really hope that I can get a 14 lb of the Archetype because I absolutely love this ball!

The ball looks good, travels down the lane well, but once it hits the pocket it doesn’t carry nearly as well as my white black widow ghost hammer ball. I wish it did. I’m not a high rev bowler and I thought the extra movement would carry more strikes but it didn’t

The bowl is very aggresive, moves right to left very hard.. not for slow rollers, I love the ball, go from left to right across lane, hooks every time, good pin action
