I'm giving this 5 stars beause not only did it fit my Ridgid saw but it resolves a gap the manufacturer simply overlooked, with this installed the dust collection is much better than without. The orange is a decent match which I also like since it both goes well with the saw but more important it won't be difficult to spot when it inevitably falls on the floor during a blade change LOL

I wish Ridgid had included a similar cover with the saw, preferably one that slid aside or pivoted so that it wouldn't get lost. As they did not, this is as good as I'm going to get. Blade changes on this saw are not so frequent that I worry about it wearing to the point where it will fall out during use. I may add a hinge of duct tape to be sure and to prevent loss. Anything that helps to improve dust collection is welcome in my shop and this qualifies. The price is low enough that, in the event that it should get lost, I will replace it.A raised tab or a fingernail groove or similar aid for removal would have been welcome.
