This is a really unique fireplace cover, however the color is not what is shown ob the photos - it is bronze/copper not gold.Will have to spray paint this to match the color I was expecting originally.

I am so happy, my fireplace problem has finally been fixed. The problem I had was concealing the plastic covering I had sealing my fireplace, w/o compromising the look of the fireplace & its space. When temps really dip, the HVAC system has difficulty keeping up with heating the entire home, so I had to figure out where all the cold air was coming from & seal off those areas. There was a LOT of cold air blowing down this fireplace, so sealing it off was the only option! I was able to use window insulation film despite hardware protrusions on the fireplace housing but needed to conceal this unsightly solution, & protect it from my resident kitties.This screen is NOT as gold as shown in the listing. It is more antique brass, as in the pictures I have uploaded. However, I think it works very well with my décor. I can always spray paint it a true gold if I want.As several artist friends noted, the style is timeless and classic, which was a factor in selection. The gauge of the mesh is large enough that the design of the fireplace shows through. An important factor in selecting this screen was its dimensions. As you can see, it barely reaches the top of the fireplace housing. I am really pleased to have been able to take care of this issue which has been on my to-do list forever!

I like that it fit perfectly with my black wall background on my fireplace under my big screen TV what I dislike was how expensive it was.

We redid our fireplace tile and wanted a smaller decorative “screen”. I love this item and have had many complements on it. It should be noted that there is no screen in the decorative metal piece, so would not stop embers from coming out if you use wood. Our is a gas fireplace that we never light, as we have another fireplace in a family room.

We purchased an older home with dated brass doors on the fireplace. I'm not yet ready to address what i might do with them. So, I wanted to hide them or disguise them.This worked perfectly for me. I'm happy with the colors. The quality is in line with the price of the product. I set my expectations accordingly.One year later. I'm still using it. I put it away during the Holidays in the winter. Everyone who comes over compliments the piece. It fun. It's art!

This caught my eye when I was looking for something to accent my mantle with. Who doesn’t love an eclectic peacock accent piece? I excitedly purchased it and when it arrived it was well packaged/protected. It was heavier than I anticipated, especially up a flight of stairs to my apartment. It is even more gorgeous in person. The pink is a little more prevalent than the picture shows but is so beautiful! It adds an almost iridescent affect to the piece. To summarize, worth every penny! I highly recommend!
