Well made, nice looking but a bit small to see at a distance, especially if used in the woods where daylight. is limited. If they were 6 inches in diameter they would be perfect.

We are gearing up for our cross-country skiing season and decided to give these arrow markers a try. So far, they look great during the day, but haven't had a chance to verify reflectivity during the night time. If your nails are long enough (I'm using 1 3/4 inch galvanized) they penetrate any tree just fine, regardless of bark depth. As stated by others, 4" would be better, but these should be fine, especially if they reflect light well.

Easy to see. I used aluminum nails to prevent any rust streaks. Mine have been up for a year and look brand new.

I love everything about these trail markers except the price. It gets really expensive to mark a trail at around $1 a marker.
