I ordered this part as part of my efforts at getting my Trane furnace to work correctly. The Code 3's it was generating made me think this would do the trick, despite the fact that the original switch tested as good. So remember this: most code 3's are indicating an issue unrelated to the switch. This was true in my situation as a failing controller board was actually the problem. Live and learn. But it was good to get a reasonably priced part that proved it wasn't a defective switch.
