Used this as a fixed drive for a Win95 install on a 97' Gateway 2000 system to replace the dead hard drive. With a basic IDE to CF adapter, it works perfectly. No issues yet, but plan to add another adapter and a bigger CF card of the same line as a hard drive for programs/games since the 512MB is only so big but the drive has to be small enough capacity for older OS's to see the drive.

This CF cards we need for backup and spare parts in and older Esab cutting CNC machine. We did clones from working CF card in order not to lose complete operating system, software, network settings and machine variables. Lucky that we can find those capacity and type. Previously obtained also Transcend but PIO mode was not acceptable with older machine. So if anyone has similar needs, first check if machine accept CF cards with "PIO mode".

I'm using these cards to replace IDE hard drives in old PCs and Acorn computers. With the right adaptor they're a drop-in replacement for IDE drives

Fonctionne parfaitement sur mon sampleur Roland SP-606 et permet de charger les sons depuis le DD du PC. La limite acceptée par ce sampleur roland est de 512mo. Je rédige cet avis pour les musiciens qui recherchent ce genre de carte.

Used for older Fanuc lathe. Works good and is cheaper that the Fanuc replacements. Not all brands work with the older machines.This one does.
