I cleaned my whole throttle body before adding this Trans Dept and it not only give me a few horsepower, it does better at open throttle. I highly recommend! Now to do header and 3in exhaust

Haven't bolted it up...but...came with hardware to move the bracket with throttle cables. Update. Tried to bolt up but the idle air sensor was in the way. It wont fit in a 89 -late 90s 460 ford truck engine. It moves throttle body out 2 inches. So it hits throttle body and cant bolt up. So mad. Dont know how they expect it to work. Maybe if you buy a 400$ aftermarket throttle body or something but not the stock one. Beware....

I was very impressed with how it smoothed out while accelerating. Haven't checked it yet but I'm sure I'm getting better mileage. Great upgrade for the money.

Bought it for my best friends truck for his 30th, birthday, for a 1989 f150 302, gave it more mid range pull, and better gas mileage, perfect fit, now time to talk him into the rest, this is highly recommended for the price, all my vehicle's have trans dept tbs.

Maybe how I drive but the truck seems to be more responsive. more torque and mid and high RPMs. Can't help with the gas mileage. No fuel gauge currently and I am horrible about receipts..sorry. But, defiantly would recommend it for a V8 5.0 Ford F-150!

The price was right and there was a definite change in my engine performance. The fit is tricky when dealing with the throttle cables and I think I may still need adjustment, but, overall my truck is running stronger. This was installed on a 1988 F150 XLT Lariat with the 351Windsor 5.8L vin H designation. I am a happy driver. A great and simple upgrade for the low cost.
