Part does not fit for my 77 caprice and it was not manufactured correctly because at the base it leaks. I have a brand new gasket and made sure everything was centered.

This item has a groove for an o-ring but comes with a standard fiber gasket. It leaked with the original and an OEM-gasket that I ordered. I ordered a o-ring for it through Amazon and it didn’t fit. Luckily I had an o-ring in my collection that happened to fit and problem solved but I certainly would NOT recommend this item.

Has an o-ring groove, attempted to silicone it up and it leaked using just a gasket. Misleading as I thought it would be a flush mount. Garbage

The mating surface on the housing has a o-ring groove. I am not sure if this is meant to use with just a o-ring and no gasket. The cardboard gasket it came with didn't even seal for a week, I even used light RTV on both sides. I ended up putting the old factory one back on (does not have an o-ring groove) it seals fine. The chrome was decent though.

This is an o-ring water neck supplied with a flimsy gasket. Same thing I took off my small block that leaked. Sent it back. Deceptive description in my opinion.

Delivered on time, good finish with no leaks, no trouble. I installed it on my 1951 truck on a 350ci engine looks good.
