I haven't the slightest clue with the breather cap went on my car's transmission. It is a rather large opening and directly facing up so was always worried about something falling in (just dust/dirt etc too).This breather cap was the perfect fit! It's a very snug fit on our Acura/Honda. Nice thick rubber that will the fall off anytime soon. I do recall the original had gotten loose over time and wasn't as thick as this, so pretty satisfied with this aftermarket replacement.
