The depth of the engine of different models is different. If the tester probe cannot be immersed in the oil, please take out the engine oil for testing. Some models do not have an oil caliper so the probe cannot be inserted for testing, and the oil also needs to be taken out for testing.

It does work. As far as I can tell. It detects how dirty your transmission oil is. It uses a sensor to see how easy a light pass through the oil. It does work. It does work. Just like putting oil on a white paper towel. to see how dirty is is. This doe the same.
