I had to break out some tools to compress the yellow part on to the end of the metal rod and even then it was TOUGH. Hopefully it will hold up and be just as hard to come off or break.

It’s the exact item as advertised, just not a fit for my Ford fusion 2010. I ended up going to o Riley which have different size kit and spent $3 less. The Amazon kind would of worked for someone else, just not for my fusion.
