2004 F350 5.4L Triton 193K milesDid the trick. Original symptoms were 1-2 shift failure with a hard shift into 3rd and a failure to go into overdrive. It was suggested that I just need the accumulator, but figure if I am going to the trouble to open the trans, I would do both. The accumulator had a broken spring, but so did the lower valve body. Works great now.Just make sure to be careful and not lose the check balls from the original valve body. As mentioned in the description, you have to reuse the check balls.

I have a 99 F250 Super Duty 7.3 L with the 4 R 100 transmission this part works perfectly fine but if you're having a rough shift strange shifting slamming into gear between second and third third and fourth maybe even Overdrive you need the valve body accumulator that is the part that is broken if you remove Springs they will be broken in the old accumulator valve so technically you don't need this part
