Very well made, MUCH easier to get everything to base lodge. My boots are big-30.5 and they just fit. Helmet is a bit of a tight squeeze but goesin ok, with room for goggles, gloves, extra lightweight fleece or windbreaker as well. There are bigger bags but am comfortable with this one.Wrote my name on top with magic marker so hopefully noone will steal it. All in all, worth the $80 and very glad I bought it.

I have now used my Transpack XTI1 for a couple of seasons of a lot of skiing. They are holding up nicely and offer a lot of room for everything you need to go skiing. The only negative I have on them is that they are hard to fit in some of the lockers because of the size. If you have a small locker this will not work for you.

Great bag, very well constructed with lots of pockets and room. The only downside is that snowboard boots are very tight in the side pockets.

Excellent product. It fits my boots and helmet with plenty of room to hold other items that I need for a day on the slopes

Fits Jr boots, helmet, gloves, pants, goggles, etc. with room to spare. Backpack straps huge feature so hands free to carry skis. My boots wld never fit though (men's 31.5), so best for kids or maybe ladies. Seems durable and has held up this season just fine. Drains in boot compartments help keep the inside dry and stink-free.

Got this bag to carry my ski boots since the handle broke on my old Alsop Boot tree and they don't make them anymore. I was looking for something that would carry more than just boots and this bag is it. It is rather wide when boots are in the side pockets but that's so the interior compartment has more room. My helmet, beanie, ski socks (clean ones) and mittens easily fit in the center compartment with room for more. The top flap has room for a pair of goggles but since my daughters also ski we use a goggle case for all our goggles. The side mesh pockets hold a variety of items, from tissue packs to iPod cables to wet gloves and dirty socks. I haven't worn it as a backpack yet but just getting the gear from the house to the car is so much easier with this bag, there's a nice grab handle between the shoulder straps to carry it. And by keeping my gear in the bag, I don't forget something important, like gloves! (I don't keep wet gear in the bag, once everything is dry I put it back in the bag.) It's not cheap but it fits my needs to carry ski gear conveniently. If I lost this one, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. In fact, I am going to buy two more, as Christmas gifts for my daughters next season!

I originally bought this same Transpack ski boot bag 10 years ago. In that time, I've taken it skiing all over the country. The quality of this bag is outstanding! After 10 years of punishing use, it finally started to tear a bit at the bottom from the wear of my ski boots. Since it is still is in useable condition, I use my old bag for my snowboard boots so that I don't have to keep switching out boots!
