I've only just mounted it but the product feels sturdy. My issue was that I did not receive all of the small plastic pieces required to mount it to my rails. The company responded quickly, but wanted me to remove the rack from my boat and return the entire thing instead of sending me one small plastic piece. I would have even settled for a STL file so that I can 3d print my own piece.

Very well made, Loved the rail connections. kept the rail connector slightly loose and bolted up to rail to align then used blue painters tape to mark the angle, then removed to tighten connector to holder and reinstalled on rail. Worked great!!!!

We purchased this SUP rack to transport a 10 1/2' SUP on board a a boat, attaching to the side rails. It was easy to install and we've traveled extensively at top speed without an issue. It stores to the outside of the rails, leaving the gunnels free and clear. Easy to remove for use or if you need the side of the vessel to be open for tie up/docking/etc.

I have a beneteau 43 with tapered stanchions, starting at 1" at the base but decreasing to 1/2" toward the top. Because of a fairly high toerail, the top clamp ends up being placed where the stanchion is only about 1/2". None of the plastic spacers provided works with that small a diameter. I had to jury rig a spacer using a section of a garden hose! Longer project that I would have liked for a $200+ item. If the boat was a unique design, I'd turn a blind eye, but this is a mass produced model...I would have expected the designer to take tapered stanchions into account.BTW, why not include a couple of spares for the screws? I doubt that would break the bank. Am I the only klutz out there who inevitably drops something in the water? A trip to the hardware store only addedd to my frustration

Had to jerry rig the clamps to make them fit... But once that was done... They work and look great!

My board fits perfectly and is very secure! The inside is padded to protect my board and the boat fasteners will fit a variety of sizes of life stantions.
