Powerful, Stinger 20-turn modified motor, 30% faster than the typical stock motor! A "20-turn" single (which is the designation of the Stinger motor) indicates that a single thickness of wire is wound 20 times around the armature of the electric motor. The less times the wire is wound; the faster the motor will go. The thickness of wire around the armature determines how much torque the motor puts out. So, a 20-turn double would provide more torque than the 20-turn single. Remember, a more modified motor must be geared properly in order to achieve its maximum performance and may also eat up your battery causing you to have shorter run times. The Stinger motor is a mild modified motor that gives you a lot of speed and still gives you around 6-10 minutes of run time, depending on how you have your car set-up and what kind of batteries you are using. This motor I've never used before and it didn't last 30 hours and burnt it was getting ridiculously hot I searched for the size needed for my Traxxas and the review was stellar so I got it but I just wanted to let you know that it's just a bad motor and will not advise getting another one unless proven me otherwise thank you Amazon for the wide spread products and being a prime member of Amazon this setback will not slow me from being a reliable customer I do understand that all products are not 💯% you learn through trial and era.

I purchased two of these motors for use with my Tamiya Clodbuster. Since the Clodbuster needs a reverse rotation motor, these are perfect because of their zero timing (in short - they run as-fast forward as reverse).TIPS:- Use the "water break-in" method prior to installing the motor.- Clean the motor and oil the bushings regularly.- Check the motor's temperature and adjust gearing accordingly.PRO's:- reasonably-priced, upgrade motor (from 27-turn, stock motor)- durable and water-resistant (follow manufacturer's guide to maintaining motor after use in wet conditions)- provides great performance in many RC applicationsCON's:- motor comes with bushings instead-of bearings- must use 1/8" bore pinion gears (unless using an adapter to 5mm)NOTE: If you found this review helpful, please indicate so. I had this motor from my original Traxxas stampede I got in 2003 and I beat the heck out of it. Lasted for about 8 years of constant use before dying finally. Its weird so many people are complaining about the thing not lasting long maybe Traxxas's product quality for this item has gone down over the last 13 years.

Its says fast motor so far I don't think its as fast as stock motor. I r.eally don't like that but I'll see how dependable it is........so up date junk........burned up. Don't perform well at all

Motor stopped working after 2min of run time. Does not respond at all to voltage input. Just buy the stock 20T motor.
