Spur gear, 83-tooth, 48-pitch. Optional Traxxas spur gears allow you to increase or decrease the final drive ratio and tune for different applications. Smaller gears will increase the speed of the vehicle while larger gears will increase the torque. (for models with Torque-Control slipper clutch) Use Traxxas stock and hop-up replacement parts to get the most out of your Traxxas RTR vehicles. This product is made from high quality materials and designed for long-lasting performance. With these add-on items you have to have another order going. I don't like that since I pay for Prime but just get a bunch of them at once. They are pretty cheap. (in my opinion a good deal) It is nice to have enough gears to get many different combinations. These burn out at times. (strip off all of the teeth a little bit)Go to 32P gearing if you have trouble with 48P. I did that and am happy with it. (little more noise, nothing major)

Great fitment on most Traxxas vehicles. Put on a Slash 2wd and it FLIES on 3S Lectron Pro 5200mAh 50C Roar ApprovedAlways make sure to purchase a few of these, as it's likely the first 1 installed will be chewed up and for a couple of bucks - why not!Caution/ Words of Wisdom;Highly recommend this spur compared with the 76T 48P (motor will run way too HOT, in less than 2 minutes) also it's likely you'll have to replace/ upgrade your ESC!

Spur gear, as advertised. 83T gives quicker acceleration and lower motor temps than the stock 90, at the cost of top speed. May be cheaper here than @ your local hobby store. Quick shipping.

Our r/c crazy 13 year old has been running and racing cars and trucks for about four years, and the Traxxas Bandit was his first higher-end remote control vehicle... and it has probably been his favorite.He has experimented with many combinations of axles, tires, pinions, and spur gears to boost torque or top-end, and this spur gear is just one of many in that quest. It continues to withstand the punishment he gives it, and it is easy to install. Run with a 26t pinion provides a rear wheel gear ratio of about 8.7:1 so it accelerates decently while having very good speed down the long dirt run or the road! The Bandit is an A+ ride () for its price!The availability of replacement parts for the Bandit, like this gear, greatly exceeded our expectations. These Traxxas cars and parts have been, and continue to be, an outstanding learning experience for him and that has been a blast to watch evolve.If you need a spur gear like this, or even if you just want to have one as a spare in your tool box, you will not be sorry that you did.
