I recently acquired a xmaxx8s stock,wasn't happy with proformance with stock gears this 20T pinion paired with a 50T spur will really wake up your truck. It will wheelie basically at any rolling speed.You do need to keep an eye on temps since this puts more strain on esc and motor which im running stock ,haven't had issues yet but have the link app to watch temps.This is a low budget upgrade that's definitely worth it if your running stock.Also I always choose Amazon for this stuff because I'm a hr away from local hobby shops and shipping is always fast.

Used two of these on 4s maxx …both lasted about two runs before they exploded. These are pot metal not steel gears.

I put this pinion in to fix the gearing issues I had from putting on the much taller proline trencher 3.8 hp tires. It made the truck seem lighter and handle much better.
