Your cart is empty.Gear, 9-T pinion (32-pitch) (machined steel) / set screw. Optional Traxxas pinion gears allow you to increase or decrease the final drive ratio and tune for different applications. Larger gears will result in higher speeds while smaller gears provide more torque. These are designed for use with 32-pitch spur gears and 3mm motor shafts.

Added this 9T pinion to my Stampede 4x4 vxl. Decided to remove and swap to a slightly bigger pinion for a while and as I tried to loosen set screw crumbled. Now the pinion is permanently stuck on my motor shaft. Very brittle metal used for the screw, beware. Use the stock set screw instead.

This fits a 3mm shaft of a 550 motor perfect and seems to grab gears well. Couldn't find a 8 tooth so I used this and it seems faster than before.

The motor plate cannot be adjusted small enough for it to even mesh. You'll have to purchase the 45t spur gear for this to work.Finnaly got in my 45t spur gear and installed this 9t pinion. I'm running a 3 cell battery and with this set up the top speed is a little faster than a brisk walking pace when paired with my holmes hobby 550 27t trail master. I have a ton of low end torque and low speed control now. I definitely approve this setup of your on a budget.

Looks like a high quality gear, unfortunately it wasn't quite the right specs to mesh with the gear I needed it for (from a Power Wheels ride-on car) but that was my fault.

Way less heat and longer run time using this pinion on my stampede 4x4 vxl. Cuts down the top speed a fair amount but I think its worth it. It tore up my spur though so now I need to get a few more of those.

bought the pinion for the slash 4x4 with stampede tires mounted on it and it worked great! be careful when running the stock tires as you can hit the max rpm on the motor easily.
