I use this belt in my pool or at the water park because I am afraid of the water and can't swim. But when I have a belt such as this on, I can float and swim around without too much fear. I have one that I have had for years and the buckle broke and I had it taped so it still worked but I was afraid of it. The overall rating is 5 star because it does what I purchased it for. I guess you could say I work out with it because I'm swimming but that is not the reason I purchased it. It really doesn't have any stretch to it because if it did, it wouldn't stay where it needs to be. I love this belt and hope to have it for a long time to come.

Took this to the lake for use while paddleboarding. Tested it by jumping in. It brought me back to the surface, but required a bit of treading water to keep my head above water. I way 180 pounds with a 34 waist, and it fit me on the smallest setting. I would imagine it would fit a 44 waist on the biggest setting. I am very happy with this device, its much mor comfortable in my opinion than a life jacket

The belt creeps up quite a bit from the waistline. However, I have an equilibrium problem and we ordered a number of items for me to try out in our new pool and this belt worked the best to allow me to swim, or float, or just exercise. Love it!

Tried this for the first time in a swimming pool with my grandkids. It worked great and kept mew from getting tired in the deep end of the pool.

Hard to get these traditional "ski" belts before they changed the laws we used this type of belt when we water slopes in the 70's and 80's not easy to find ones as good as I remember...perhaps my memory is skewed. These were the best one for this price about a traditional as I could find for the price. Works great does its thing one will float. Just don't have too big a round for it to get around does not run big for th heftier guys and GPS out there. Sorry but that's what I've found. Love it otherwise

The buckles were installed upside down. It was impossible to fasten.
