We loooooove this bell. So we have these at home because we like to ring the bell once someone says something happy, inspiring, and generally good! We upgraded to these bells and so glad we did. They are solid and of high high quality, plus they look amazing (truly old world charm).

This lovely bell is beautiful sitting on my Mom's nightstand. I can hear the ring down the hall when she needs help just fine (though the cats do not like the sound at all). The ringer does get caught every once-in-a-while but you can turn the top knob & it frees it to ring again.
