This tree stand did not work for me for my tabletop tree because the opening was to think for a tabletop tree therefore it never would stay upright.

My tree is a little smaller but this works with a rock supporting the gap.

Needed a stand for a 4 ft. Alpine artificial tree. This fit the need perfectly. I added decorative stones to the trough area to make it sturdier and to reduce the chances of tipping if brushed against by one of my two dogs. I think it would work best with trees that have a bigger trunk circumference - mine was 2 1/4” across.

I haven't had a chance to use this, but I did check it out and it would appear that it will do the trick. It is a nice stand and can either go on a table top or the floor.

The only reason that I didn’t give this 5 stars is because I wish it was just a little bit heavier or wider to be able to keep the tree steadier. Our little 3 foot tree toppled right over when it got lightly bumped.Other than that, it’s super easy to stick the tree in, just make sure that you’ve trimmed enough of the bottom branches to get it all the way in there.I also like the cute design of the stand.

We have a tiny little table top tree (yes it's sad looking but that's what we like, it has so much character) anyway we had to put a couple little sticks around the trunk of the tree because its so small but it's doing its job and it's plenty sturdy even if you have a much bigger tree.
