Product Review: NatureBlend Tree Saddle Hunting Knee Pads1. First Impression: As a saddle hunter, I'm always on the lookout for gear that enhances comfort and protection. The NatureBlend Tree Saddle Hunting Knee Pads looked promising right out of the package. They appeared well-made, with durable materials and a design that seemed like it would provide good support. My initial impression was definitely positive.2. Pros:* Durable Materials: The knee pads themselves seem to be constructed from durable materials that should hold up well to the rigors of hunting. The stitching appears solid, and the padding feels substantial.* Easy Adjustment: The adjustable elastic straps and buttons make it easy to get a snug and secure fit. I was able to quickly adjust them to fit comfortably over my hunting pants.* Good Initial Comfort: For the first hour or so, these knee pads were great. They provided good cushioning and support, making it much more comfortable to kneel against the tree saddle platform.3. Cons:* Strap Uncomfortable After Short Time: Here's the major problem: after about an hour of use, the straps started to become incredibly uncomfortable. They dug into the backs of my legs, causing significant pain and discomfort. This completely defeats the purpose of having knee pads designed for extended periods of sitting or kneeling.* Limited Breathability: While the padding provides good cushioning, it doesn't seem to breathe very well. My knees started to get sweaty and hot after a while, which added to the overall discomfort.* Bulkiness: These knee pads are a bit bulkier than some other options on the market. This isn't necessarily a bad thing in terms of protection, but it does make them a little less maneuverable in tight spaces.4. Overall Thoughts: These NatureBlend knee pads had so much potential. The materials seem durable, the adjustment is easy, and they're comfortable initially. However, the fact that the straps become so uncomfortable after just an hour makes them unusable for any serious saddle hunting.5. Suggestions for Improvement:* Redesign Straps: The straps are the biggest problem. They need to be wider, more padded, or made from a more comfortable material to prevent them from digging into the skin. Perhaps a different fastening system altogether would be beneficial.* Improve Breathability: Use more breathable materials in the padding to prevent overheating and sweating.* Consider Different Sizes: Offering different sizes would be helpful to ensure a better fit for a wider range of users.6. Recommendation: I cannot recommend these knee pads in their current form. The discomfort caused by the straps after a short period of use outweighs any of their positive features. As a saddle hunter, comfort is paramount, and these knee pads simply don't deliver. Unless the strap design is significantly improved, I would suggest looking at other options.

It's a nice roomy bag, but the 2 D-rings are very small and can't hook very easily to other bags or mounts

Looks great and works well. I have bigger knees and these seem to work quite well. Highly suggest.

Nice saddle hunting pads so you aren't tearing up your knees or your clothes. Easy on and off and not too bad in terms of comfort.

Extremely over priced.. These are small, very small. I'm the average size guy hunting in a tree saddle (5ft 9, 210# with normal size knees) and these almost don't cover the knee cap enough. If your in a saddle leaning into the tree you're going to have to be completely straight into the tree otherwise these knee pads won't help. If you have any variations in angle your knees will dig in to the tree bark. They do not add any protection other than the front of the knee. They need to be a bit wider to add a little side knee protection. I hunt 99.999% pine Forrest type areas, and the bark on these trees is big, thick, chunky, uneven bark so it digs into the sides of the knee a lot of times. Some wrap around knee coverage is needed if you need to have a knee (or both) more around the tree than buried right into it. These will work, but they are a bit underwhelming in size and knee coverage for the average joe. For a smaller frame person such as women and children who naturally have a smaller knee these will be great. Nut for the average guy there small. As forThe price point, it is about double what these knee pads are worth. And for the money you can find a much better pair. So if you're looking for knee pads in the $60 range I'd suggest you keep looking for something that's a bit better than these. I'd say these should be in the $20 range not 60.

These knee pads are a saddle hunters best friend. They are super lightweight yet super comfortable. They fit well without being uncomfortable on the back side of the knee. They seem to be extremely durable. I will say that the price does seem kind of steep for what they are! Overall great product!!!

I am really excited to try these knee pads for various things: hunting, gardening, metal detecting, tracking, etc. Though the demographic for these is more male-oriented, I am a small woman and was able to adjust these to fit my knees even though the pads would work for a variety of shapes and sizes. The elastic straps are nice for comfort but allow the pads to move around - it might have been the relaxed pants I was wearing at the time I tried these on that was allowing them to shift more so. It could also be that I am too small for them, BUT I have some new hunting gear en route and will be trying them on with my bibs in short order. The padding and durability of the pads themselves seems adequate and I feel comfortable kneeling in these. Using them when in a tree stand or for something more stationary would be totally fine. Iām just not sold on the design/material of the elastic straps for anything more action-oriented where frequent movement necessary. I will update this once I am able to give them a proper trial in the field!

I really wanted the knee pads because of the thin straps. I thought they would work great with my Atlas46 pants. The straps worked fine for the pants but I was disappointed in the elastic. They are way to stretchy. I would have preferred something a bit stiffer. Same with the buckles. These just aren't so secure. These might be OK if you are handing out in a tree but you will not be satisfied with these using them as work knee pads.
