They work well as intended. They were a little on the pricey side but honestly what isn't anymore.

The box says that these tacks are visible for 200 feet. My experience is that if I know where they are I can see them out to about 50 feet. I have a pretty strong headlamp and these tacks do not catch your eye at all.

I feel I could make a better product for this price. These are merely a slightly heavier gauge thumbtacks with orange stickers on them! The sticker is easy to peel. Plus, they were marketed as ‘reflective’ tacks. However, while they are indeed orange and might show against a bland background at night they are not actually ‘reflective’ the way you expect them to be. Other reflective tacks actually catch the light and flash a little when your headlamp catches them - they are definitely noticeable at night. These however, are not!
