This the second Trenkle cuckoo clock I have ordered. I have one at the entrance of my home and the second one is in my master bedroom. I like the reminder that another hour has passed and the music is quite nice. I had an issue with the first one I got but I contacted Frank Trenkle at the company and he cleared the issue up promptly. I was so impressed that the company stood behind their products that I never thought about another brand when choosing my second one. Truth is, I have travelled on holiday quite frequently to Germany and the clocks remind me of the many great adventures experienced there. These are not really just clocks, they are art pieces to be enjoyed at sight or on the hour. I change the batteries about every 6-9 months (Ray-O-Vac) and the clocks keep the time perfectly. Fabulous.
