I love this clock! After looking on and off for 2 years I finally settled on this one because it's whimsical yet still has a classic old world Germany style to it. Some others are too plain or had a Christmas vibe to them. Even though this one has dwarves dressed in red and green, there are flower boxes around the windows so it doesn't feel like a wintery Christmas decoration. It worked right out of the box, after inserting the batteries and setting the time. It takes 3C batteries (not sure what the instructions mean by "baby C")and despite the description saying otherwise, this clock DOES play music. But you can switch it to 'music off' and you'll only get the cuckoo sound which is adorable with the echo. It cuckoo's every hour (once for 1:00 twice for 2:00 and so on) & the sensor does work so it won't cuckoo in the dark. I'm so glad I chose this one! I just wish the pinecones weren't so obviously plastic and cheesy looking. But, my husband put hooks in real pine cones from our property and I replaced the plastic ones with those! So fun!!

Love this clock. The workmanship is beautiful. This is a beautiful clock that I highly recommend if you are in the market for one. Reminds me of the one a grew up with. This was a gift to myself

I LOVE this cuckoo clock!!! At first the cuckoo wasn't going right with the time. The directions made it easy to set to cukoo with the right time. No problems with it at all. It was well packed no broken pieces. The craftsmanship is great very colorful. It makes me smile every time it cuckoos.

Very well-made cuckoo clock. I have a little problem with it being “modern” with playing music with the cuckoo. However, love the volume control, ability to turn off the music, and the design. Also you do not have long chains that you need to pull in order to wind the clock. Great if you have little kids or a kitten that likes to fool with the chains!

Love my clock, but I've only had it 11 months & the hour hand is loose, NOT HAPPY. HAS A 2 YEAR WARRANTY & I CAN'T FIND ANY WAY TO FIND IT!!!
