This ramp came fully assembled, which was a huge plus right out of the box. It feels sturdy and secure, at least for the dachshund using it. The carpeted surface gives solid traction, and the ramp felt wide enough for him to use comfortably without hesitation.The length is just right for a standard couch and would work well for lower beds too, though very tall furniture might still be too steep. The legs fold underneath for flat storage, and there’s a cabinet-style latch that holds them in place. It also has a built-in carrying handle, which makes it easy to move and store when not in use.One thing to keep in mind: if you move the ramp, be careful how you lift it—it's supported like a pool chair so when you lift it, the support bar can unhook and you will need to re-secure it before using it again. It’s nothing to worry about, but it can catch you off guard.It can slide slightly on hard floors, so if you’ve got a larger dog or one that jumps onto it quickly, I’d recommend using it on carpet or adding some grip pads to the feet. Overall, though, it’s a convenient, functional ramp.
