I have spent countless mindless hours making boondoggles, they are a great portable fidget that in the end you have a keychain.Last summer I found a lost project while walking my dog, I picked it up and mindlessly finished it, it was great because I did not have to start the project which is a little challenging, but that is just the way it is. So as the weather warms up I decided it is time to get a pack where I can chose my own colors, and what is better than iridescent AND glow in the dark, basically 2 of my favorite things.These are easier to use when it is warm as the plastic will soften a little, but in comparison to other lanyard strings this is pretty soft.There are SO many key rings and notions to go along with the wide variety of color spools. This is a great kit to kill many hours, to use in a classroom, after school program, dexterity therapy, summer camps, slumber parties, birthday parties, and any where you want to practice dexterity, hand eye coordination, or just keep idle hands busy.The kit includes an idea book that has very clearly drawn images and instructions that make it easy to understand how to make items. Bonus, the instructions can also work as a guide for what to make with your palms on Palm Sunday.I as very pleased to see that they were not joking when they said it glows, I put a started project under a light for only a moment and it glowed very brightly. Now it does not have any sort of super long lasting light charge, but it is fun especially as a novelty.For the price, this is great, I was sort of surprised to see that there were no snips included in the box, snips seem to come with everything and is the only thing missing that would make this a true “everything you need” kit. I have snips, and do not need more, but this would be a great kit to include them in.So would I get it again? Yeah absolutely.

My nieces come to me for “craft afternoons with Aunty”, and I’m always looking for fun projects we can all enjoy, especially if they end up with something they can take home. This excellent lanyard kit fits the bill. It has 20 colors, including the favorite “glow in the dark” in two of the colors, and half of the colors have an extra sheen. There are also lo ster clasps, keychain rings, and metal clips, for a variety of projects. The manual included is terrific, with so many ideas, and very clear instructions for getting started, which I remember from childhood was always the most problematic. I have been practicing, and even tried a bracelet with a pattern, and one just using gimp string as a stringing cord for pony beads, with knotted edges making it adjustable. There are so many possibilities with this excellent kit, and I can’t wait to share the fun with my creative nieces.

Such a great kit! I mean it's huge, and great as a starter kit for beginners. I got this for my daughter to try, she's so artsy/crafty, I think I enjoy it more than her...lol.. Reminds me of making the keychains at her age.This kit has so many great colors, 20 in all I believe. Plus all the keychain ends, and bracelet ends. The colors are amazing, very vibrant, and very eye catching. I especially like the glow in the dark colors. Also comes with a great how-to book on all sorts of keychain & bracelet designs.Definitely a great value, and fun for all ages. Highly recommended!!!

This probably would have been fun if I'd had an instruction book. We had no idea what we were doing. We tried watching videos but it did not work out. The thread or whatever its called seemed nice and there are a lot of colors available.

Exactly as described and as you would expect. Super colorful. The boondoggle its self is really great. The instructions on the knots, are not so good. I would plan on using YouTube or something like that for actual instructions on how to do it. This is a bit strechier than other kinds i have used and part of me liked it, the other part of me didn’t. Maybe just keep it in mind.

I would have loved to having this in the 90s growing up. The kit comes with tons of lanyard, keychain hardware, and color printed instructions booklet with ideas. The plastic lanyard colors are neatly wrapped around spools with a good amount in of each color, enough for numerous project. It also comes with a 6 month warranty.Perfect gift for older elementary age to teenage girls. The product comes in a color printed box. I only wish the box was more sturdy for better storage.

I’m teaching my students the magic of gimp! This was very affordable and worth the money. The gimp is easy to use, durable, and has lovely colors in the set.
