Bought this directly from T-Rex Racing since it was cheaper that way. Posting my review here because it would not let met post a review on the T-Rex Racing site....This should work good, for light to medium duty, but not heavy duty. This is not mounted directly to the engine like the plastic one that I took off my XRX. It was packaged very well and no scratches due to shipment. Did not receive a printed instructions for installing. I watched the install video several times and paused it multiple times. The video is lacking in some of the finer details in regards to the brackets and why things are taken off. This did work with my SW-Motech engine guards and factory center stand. What is not really obvious is that it uses four brackets that are mounted to the engine and then to the skid plate, hence not heavy duty, but will stop rocks from puncturing the oil pan or oil filter. Needs a little more directions in the video as to which bracket goes where. Would help to show the entire bracket and the orientation it goes on the bike. The video does it too fast and does not show the entire bracket. They also need to discribe why the brake pedal is removed and pay close attention to the spring on the brake pedal (the one behind the bolt being taken off), to reinstall it correctly. The pedal is removed so you can have access to the bolt behind it so that the nut can be taken off the other side (left) of the bike for the other bracket. The bolt being taken off on the right side is well below the pedal, but also be aware this bolt connects the center stand to the bike so the bike will have to be on the side stand or supported with something else to get the right side bracket on. I also had to take off my engine guard due to the fact there was bar connecting both sides of the engine guard running right in front of the radiator. And you need access behind the radiator to install the brackets, and loosen the exhaust to remove the remaining bolt from a small guard. To remove this bolt you will need a second set of hands or a ratchet strap to move the exhaust toward the back of the bike and not down (you may think that it moves down enough to get this bolt out, but it does not). The luggage rack will also have to be removed to move the muffler back far enough. It's all a bit confusing until the end and then most of it makes since and the skid plate stiffens up one the bolts are all tighten up. Getting all the other pieces bolted back on is also not easy because there are a lot of them and you may not have organized all the bolts and guards, body panels and such so you know which bolt goes with what. Also note when taking off the inner body panel there is a plastic rivet that looks like a phillips head screw. Not the case the center of that needs to be pulled and the outer piece then can be removed. I had to pull the panel out far enough to see the rivet and rotate it so that I could get a rod in there to move the inner piece out far enough that I could pull it out. There must be a special tool that takes these things out.
