Tri-clamp Sock Screen Gasket, EPDM, 18 Mesh, 1.5" Clamp Size, 1.5" Length.

- Fits standard 1.5" tri-clover or tri-clamp fittings.

- Gasket material approved by (3A), USDA and complies with FDA's 21CFR177.2600 and 1550.
- High quality stainless steel wire mesh 316L. 18 mesh, 1081 μm.

The sock screen gasket offers more open area for soil collection capability than flat screens. They provide greater flow for situations where a large amount of particulates are involved. Due to the large open screen area, sock screens require less service therefore reducing down time and costly change outs. Sock screens can protect expensive processing pumps and equipment from foreign matter. sanitary sock screens are specifically designed for high volume applications with low pressure drop. They are used in the transfer of liquids from a bulk tank to a tank truck and/or in the opposite direction.
Sock design assures a tight fit while allowing continuous fluid flow and filtration.

Very expensive for what it is. Was too large to fit properly in the 1.5” tri-clamp fitting. Had to trim the edges
