The only thing I would change with the shifter is if it was bent back a little more as it almost touches the emergency brake when in neutral. Apart from that I absolutely love it.It shifts gears really smooth and I find the gears every time. I mainly wanted it because of the reverse lock out which is great.So much better than the original shifter.You will not find anything better for the price and even if you paid a lot more in my opinion. Makes driving my bus much more enjoyable. Also it feels so sturdy which I like.

Put it in my beetle to have that rat rod style long shifter. Good quality, fast shipping. Bolts right up with the correct spacer.

Se ve muy bien la palanca ya instalada además de que es muy fácil de cambiarla, quedan los cambios muy cortos y se siente muy bien al manejar además la calidad es bastante buena.

On my Bus, it required widening the base holes with a Dremel to allow it to align further to left. Seems ok right now and I like it better than stock

Amazing. What a difference. 15 min install. My only gripe is the stick is 6-8" over towards the right. A small con compared to the pros of the shifting now. I wanted the vintage speed, but it was triple the price and it works just as well

I was concerned that this shifter wouldn't fit a later model baywindow, 1972. It does and it shifts like butter! The gears are much easier to engage and reverse is easier than before. I love my new shifter!Only downfall is a limitation on shift knobs to fit the trigger mechanism.

Awesome. I know sometimes EMPI can get a bad rap, but this shifter works well. Easy to install and the trigger shifter is a great feature. It makes it a lot easier to find reverse. Also, the shifting is a lot shorter and smother than the stock shifter.
