These are heavier and sturdier than I expected. They work perfectly for displaying my china. Very happy with them.

Love the scrollwork and sturdiness of this plate display. I have several antique plate sets and these display them beautifully. I had 6 of these & just recently purchased a 7th for another pattern. As with everything, prices have risen the last couple of years, which is why I knocked the value down a star.

This is my second purchase of this dish stand. I use them inside glass front cabinets to hold assorted plates. They're very attractive and hold all different size plates securely. I'd love to have one with a few more slots.

It looks great. I’m glad I chose this one over the other options here on amazon. It’s very sturdy and chic

I absolutely love these plate stands. I bought one to see if I would like it, and immediately bought another. They are elegant in world of utilitarian looking contraptions. I use them for large dinner plates as well as fairly small salad plates. I think they could even hold shallow-style soup bowls.

I bought two of these but neglected to measure how deep they would be on the countertop. They are 8 inches wide and a full 12 inches deep without any plates in them. Consequently, I didn't have room for two, but bonus--I put the second one to use in my office to hold file folders. It's very sturdy, holds loads of them, and looks good too. As for their original purpose, they easily hold two plates in each section and although the feet are small, they keep the whole thing steady, even with 12 plates in them. As another reviewer mentioned, there is no cushion or felt on the metal, so I added some to keep the metal and the porcelain plate separate. I'm happy with the purchase.

I bought two of these plate holders to display a set of Twelve Days of Christmas dishes. At $9.99 each the holders were exactly what I was seeking...they are a great way to showcase my pretty dishes, not too expensive, and sturdy enough to last through many a holiday season. The finish is okay -- but would be a disappointment if I had paid a higher price.
