Ornaments always get lost in real or fake evergreen trees. This tree works great to display special ornaments. I wound a string of mini lights down the trunk to light it up. Can disassemble for easy storage.

The central "trunk" is a very long screw, onto which you have to attach the legs by spinning them from the top, all the way down to the base (which takes about 15 minutes of spinning and a couple of good squirts of WD-40). The base of this very long screw has a welded nut which cannot be adjusted. Once you get the first branch on, you alternate a tube of gold metal, then a branch, another tube, another branch til you get to the top- those just slide on, so no more spinning. The problem is that because the base nut was welded in place, the trunk-screw is almost 1/2 inch too short, so the top branch has nothing to grab on to. My solution is to find a hacksaw and shorten the last gold tube by about 3/8 inch. What a pain in the patootie! However, the product is nice looking, and will hold many of my Xmas ornaments. I am trying to avoid a whole tree this year, but still have a place to display some holiday cheer. I bought two of these, one stands up almost straight and the other is cockeyed and will need a shim.

Beautiful! Tough to put together/take apart. The rods that slip over the center shaft are just a hair too snug to slide easily on and off, but if you grease it up and use some force they will go on. Used to display glass ornaments and it was lovely.

Love the design and style, but I had to work the metal center post to make it straight after assembling it and finding that it leaned quite a lot to one side.the problem is actually in the levelness of the base/stand piece but the metal of that is too thick to adjust.

I should have ordered two! It was very easy to assemble and looks amazing! I’m using it to hang my hand painted note cards as ornaments for a holiday show! I will add a picture after I set everything up for the show.

I was very pleased with this product as it will hold very nicely the collection of White House Ornaments that I have collected over the years. It is very sturdy and well made. The only con was that I had to put this together twice as the instructions were not clear as how to attach the first piece. After realizing my error, it was simple to put together. Highly recommend this product.

UPDATE: The retailer responded to my email immediately saying I must have received a defective tree and offering to send me a new tree in gold, as the brown ones were sold out. I opted to wait for the brown trees that are expected to arrive in January. Too late for this Christmas, but am hopeful the new one will be fine. Stay tuned.NONE of the tree parts fit together properly. What a disappointment this was, because it is exactly what I was looking for. First, the 29.25" bar would not screw into the stand properly because the welds on the bottom "branch" are raised and would not allow the bar to screw deep enough into the stand. Second, from the limited assembly instructions it appears that the 5" and 6" "tubes" are supposed to slide down the 29.25" bar to separate the branches. However, the tubes do not slide down the bar, and get stuck near the top of the bar. It looks like the threaded top of the bar is not straight. Also, the branches have threads but the only two branches that appear to actually screw into something are the very bottom and very top branches. Am I missing something here?
