I own a BMW and like to do my own maintenance for the car (I know, brave soul), I cant tell you how many times I've just wanted to take a look at a component or sensor, or location where I thought a leak was coming from and had to actually spend close to an hour removing components just to get a look at something. This has saved the day for me now once with my car and another time with one of my other home DIY projects (microwave vent duct installation). The image is very clear on the device and the cable has a great blend of flexibility and rigidity that allow you to put it through even the toughest spots. I will say it’s a bit difficult to get it in the right placement at times so there is a bit of a learning curve. For the price I don't think you can beat this device.

Overall a great borescope/inspection camera. A great pro is the long camera cable and the picture is really good in my opinion. I can understand others view on the 1080P vs 720P, but for the price its great as a basic at home unit. If you want to have a fun DIY camera this is a great choice.

I gave this to my husband to try out and he was amazed at the picture quality. The design is carrying is really a nice feature, well made with everything zipped inside. Easy to use and very nice that the cameras/lights are coming out from the front and the sides of the end of the unit and you get views from both. This makes some great pictures, which can be saved on an SD card. The lights are very bright. He's going to use it for sewers, working on hard to see/reach places on the car, and while remodeling to see where to wire or run wire inside the wall. It has a really nice long camera cable. It retains the shape you need. Rugged, solid, and easy to use. Highly recommend, it's a great price for such a useful tool and a great gift for the handyman/woman.

Trying to feed it through sewer, it got stuck, the picture is not 1080, it's more like 720.

Easily the best borescope camera that I've used. The screen is bright and easy to see, and the triple lens cameras are a game changer for really seeing what's going on. The light does a good job at illuminating the area and the head unit is easy to control the head. It's good value for a quality borescope. Pop in a micro SD card and you can even take recordings. Highly recommended, this is worth the money.

Pros:- As someone who always tries to solve home maintenance problems myself to save money and have a better understanding of my house, I love having semi-professional tools like this one that help with even the toughest jobs. I wanted to try to use it to identify the problem with a blocked drain, and it worked perfectly in identify the problem one floor down. Then fixing it was as simple as getting an equally long drain snake in the right place. Huge savings on not having to call a plumber make it a worthwhile investment.- In addition to plumbing, it seems incredibly useful for electrical or networking work when routing wires through walls.- I particularly like the fact that a handheld screen unit is included, so you don't have to use your phone like with many endoscope products. It's way more convenient and lets you retain use of your phone while working.- The video quality is quite crisp and clear, and the built-in flashlight provides good visibility even in pitch dark places.- The ability to save photos and videos to a local micro SD card (which is included) is fantastic for being able to forward information to professionals for advice or estimates on repair costs.- Everything packs up into a really nice zippered hard shell case when not in use which protects it during storage.Cons:- None.Current title: Triple Lens Sewer Inspection Camera with 50FT Semi-Rigid Cable, 1080P HD Endoscope Camera with Light, 5" IPS Screen Industrial Borescope, IP67 Drain Pipe Camera Snake, 32G Storage Card, Carrying Case

We have a cheap boroscope that just plugs into our phone or tablet, but it is very difficult to use because every time you move either the phone or the probe, it wiggles a bit and you lose the connection. This Turn Raise boroscope is very different and much better. It has its own LCD screen (about the size of an older iPhone) and integrated control panel, so there's no lost connection. The semi-rigid cable is quite thick (about the same as the coaxial cable we used to connect to our TVs back when cable TV was a thing) and fairly rigid, but also flexible enough to be easily bendable. I don't think you could push all 50 feet of it without some sort of external rigidity support, but it is stiff enough to push quite a distance on its own.The control panel allows you to select which of the three cameras is activated and you can set it to split screen mode so you see through two cameras at once (the front camera and one of the 180 degree cameras, for example). The image is nice and clear and it claims to be 1080p resolution, adjustable to 720p if that's what you prefer. The unit comes with a 32GB micro-SD card installed for recording video and still photos of what you're viewing. Taking a photo or video is controlled by a dedicated button on the control panel. This is a well built device and although I haven't had occasion to use it in any real life scenarios yet, I have played around with it and I am very impressed.

I drive an older Jeep Wrangler. I'm not rich. I'd like to be rich, but I own an older Jeep Wrangler, so that's where my money goes. Jeep repairs are expensive, and as I'm not rich I've had to learn to do these myself. It's a great skill to have that's not only saved me a bundle but also helped me help loved ones. I learned pretty quickly into it that having the right tools makes a difference. I already owned some endoscopes that connect to my phone but the image wasn't that clear and the apps were always buggy. I wanted a dedicated unit with a screen of its own, so when I saw this I had to jump on it.It arrives in a very nice box and in near-mint condition. It comes with the scope, a carrying case, and a couple of tips for the endoscope to help you grab things. It's easy to use, difficult to perfect. Simply turn in on and you'll be able to see out one of the cameras. One of the buttons on the screen flips between the three cameras. This is a really nice endoscope! I love that it has three cameras. When you're using one of these it's never perfect, you always get the camera close to where you want but it's difficult to get it right on. Having three cameras means that no matter the conditions there's a good chance at least ONE of the cameras can show you what you want to see. The image is nice and clear, the screen big and bright. The scope isn't overly thick but still retains its shape well.Overall this is a great endoscope and it's going to save me a lot of headache doing car repairs in the future. I recommend!

I like the triple cameras on this - it really gives good options for viewing around as you feed the camera along. The ability to view 2 cameras at once is nice too.I have mixed opinions about the rigidity of the cable. It does hold its shape, and in applications where you have good control of the cable entry point and no sharp bends, it could be fairly straightforward to use. I tried it on a furnace duct, and found that after going in a short ways my main camera ended up pushing up against the duct and was very difficult to control its angle. This was without a fish line, but then I wasn't feeding it very far either. Having a bend right after entry made the process rather difficult. If the cable was less rigid, the camera would be less likely to end up at weird angles, but then it would also be harder to feed it along (like trying to push a rope).I am sure there are some applications where the rigidity works well - the straighter the angles the easier it will be to control. I have seen some cameras where they have a remote toggle that controls the positioning of the camera head, I can see how that would be extremely helpful on a camera like this. The image quality is good, I had no issues with camera when objects were within the focal range. Too close or too far and things are blurry but that is to be expected for a fixed focal length camera intended for viewing relatively near objects.Taking pictures or video is easy, single button to take a photo or long press to start video. The photo or video is of the same image as you see on the screen, so selected cameras will be stored. You can't change cameras while running video, but if needed you can just stop the video, change and then restart. Menu navigation is straightforward, and it has enough settings but not overly complicated. This is designed with ease of use in mind.I like the fact that it has a built in display and is not reliant on a phone app. A lot of this style of camera out there have to be plugged in to your phone but do you really want to be waving your phone around while snaking a sewer line? The display unit is quite light and seems to be reasonably sturdy, it should stand up to minor bumps and knocks but isn't highly ruggedized.Overall it is a good camera, it just can be a little tricky to feed it correctly in some scenarios.

Having used an endoscope that works with my phone, I found that it was somewhat challenging because the relatively stiff shaft of the scope overwhelms the light weight of the phone and it can be hard to control the camera without your phone moving around. I then discovered an endoscope that included its own dedicated screen and I was incredibly impressed because the screen / control unit was quite heavy and didn't suffer the same problem - it was very stable even when manipulating the scope. The TURN RAISE product is a bit of a compromise between those two extremes... and the primary features of those extremes are weight and cost. At the high end you have a big price tag ($300 for the one I got) but nice and heavy; and at the low end, a more difficult to control phone but a price tag more like $40. The TURN RAISE endoscope / inspection camera falls about in the middle in terms of weight AND price... and strikes a good compromise if you use it often enough that the phone flop annoyance is worth eliminating, but not often enough that you can justify going with a more expensive but more stable / heavier product. With that out of the way, the unit performs well and features three camera lenses labeled "A" (forward facing), "B" and "C" (both facing sideways on opposite sides of the scope). You can choose to view any of the three, or combinations of A+B or A+C. The letter for each camera is shown in small on the screen, which helps understand what you're looking at.The screen and image quality are good, despite the fact that you get some image distortion in either of the side-facing lenses. There is a light on the scope that can be adjusted for brightness using the up/down buttons on the control unit. You can capture still images of video, which can be handy for referring back to a view, and you can review pics and videos on the control unitIt does come with a nice carrying case too.Though I would be tempted to spend the extra money for added features elsewhere, the TURN RAISE endoscope delivers VERY good value and is unlikely to disappoint. It gets 5-stars, factoring in value.

This unit is both high quality and easy to use! You received this unit with a full 50' of attached cable to the monitor/controller. As best I can tell, the cable is not replaceable. It might have been an interesting option to have on length of cable at about 5 or 6 feet - that 50' length is a lot to unwind and then wind up again!I like the fact it come with a top located "on - off" switch. No holding some other button for three seconds or some combination - just a simple switch. Nice!Taking both video or stills, is a great option. Sometimes you want to what is going on (or not going on) as opposed to a simple still frame. And having a small TF card slot is very smart, too.Still photographs are recorded at 1920X1080 - an high quality HD standard. Video recording is stated as 1280X720 - somewhat low by todays standards, but considering the ultra small camera and just where that camera might be, it's pretty amazing.I did notice that both images from the video and still are somewhat granny, lack some degree of contrast and the colour not extremely accurate. It's good, but not great. All this is back of the units build-in screen. The best it can display is 854X480. This is not a great image. It might be ok if you looking for fallen cap inside the engine bay of your car, or trying to look down and find the clog in a drain. But it is not detailed and sharp. If you want to view a really clean image in video or stills, especially, you need to download (or is it "upload"...) to your computer, where you can take advantage of the much higher recorded image. The ability to view three different views in one location with out twisting or moving the probe, in totally unique! You can Left and Centre, Left and Right, Left or Centre or Right. In addition, you have three different levels of light that can produced by the small LED lights in the probe. Each different lens has its own LED light.Bottom Line - A very capable, inspection camera. Tough, water proof, unique abilities to view different angles without the need to reposition the probe - a very difficult task at times. Although the built-in screen is not the sharpest, you can simply and easily view all recorded material on a laptop or monitor that can accept TF memory cards. Great buy!
