This Gates AX35 37" x 1/2" notched v-belt was the perfect replacement for my 2010 Troy-Bilt 3090XP snow blower auger drive belt. Original p/n 954-04195 is superseded by 954-04195A, which is a 37x1/2" belt without notches. The revised belt doesn't work properly in the older blower- the auger drive will not release due to too much residual belt friction (go figure, there are no notches), even with all adjustments fully loose.
