I ordered this for my daughter who is a size adult large in both men and women's clothes. I was concerned about the fit because, even though the size large on the chart is her measurements, the listing specifically said 'slim fit'. So I was stressing over whether or not I should have gotten the XL. Turns out, I should have gone one, maybe even two sizes smaller. The pants are way too long and way too wide. And I knew the jacket would be velvet, but I didn't know it was going to be puffy? It's stunning to look at, but texture-wise it's weird, and it gets hot fast. We still love this on her though. But she's going to wear her own pants and get the jacket tailored.
