Not much that can be said, it's a rope reel and does its job. I am specifically using this for a wakeboard rope, and this item was much cheaper than the ones from the watersports brands that are the exact same.

Was tired of the launch line for my boat getting tangled into a rats nest each time I went to launch or trailer the boat, no matter how careful I was coiling it. I was going to make a reel from an old spool, but found this on Amazon and for the price figured I'd try it out as a temporary solution. Works well enough that I'll skip making my own solution. Plus the end result is flatter and takes up less room than any reel I could make. Nothing fancy, but it works.

This is a must for me on my kayak .. keeps my anchor rope managed while on the water and makes it easy and safe to deploy anchor.

I’m using this for 100’ strands of Xmas lights. So much easier to keep neat and easy to unroll lights. No more hassle with tangled lights catching on each other. I can see how easy a trot line would be. This is flat. I think that would help when stowing on a boat so this would be top choice. For Xmas lights I would consider something wider and more rounded and compare prices. I’d buy this to save money if they aren’t close in price

When rating this for sturdiness take into account it is not a high priced item. There are other types of these winders that are much more expensive and not much more durable. The product will do what it is meant to do, and is easy to use.

Great for storing anchor line on kayak. I use 550 para cord as anchor line, and easily stores 100 feet. Will hold more, but thats all I need
