I needed a helmet for horseback riding lessons. Troxel is often a recommended brand from trainers and instructors. It's a well-made helmet and the red/white/blue looks great. I get a lot of compliments on my helmet. You won't go wrong with a Troxel, and this one will make you the envy of everyone in the paddock.

We do a lot of barrel racing so head gear is important and the style and comfort fit the bill.

Bought for my teenager he loves it. It does fade to a dark red in the back of the helmet something not well shown in the pictures

This is a good helmet and a good brand. I used to have the old troxels that I found uncomfortable and after years of not using a helmet had to buy one for a new boarding facility. This covers more of the head (and is bulky because of that aspect) and I feel offers more coverage at the base of the neck. I do like the adjustable band that can move up or down to help better fit and the design is a plus.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. At first when I put it on, I didn't get the sit right on my head and wasn't sure how it was going to compare-- once I adjusted it a bit- BAM! Perfect. This has become my 'go to' helmet for all rides. Love the patriotic design, and love the fit. Thank you Troxel!
