We ordered a full TRQ 6-piece suspension kit from another online vendor, but one's box was obviously oil-soaked from a manufacturing defect in the shaft seal. This was a better cost and could get the same part here, so we had them refund and bought a replacement here.It got here well-packed and operative, so the driver got their Tacoma back and our lift is clear now!

I realized after delivery that I needed to replace the mounts that came with the original Touareg struts mounts, I thought it was direct replacement but no, It was an additional work to get spring compressed etc. But the most difficult and time consuming part was reinstalling it, removing old strut not too bad but installing the new one was hard, really hard so beware of that before buying it, since I would not have done it myself if knew that..Finally, my old springs were weaker I guess so suv sit lower than front, but now it sits higher , much higher than front, even after many weeks, so you might need to replace front springs too..

Been working on this for 2 months. Not as simple as they make it sound and you CANNOT find dimensions anywhere. Very frustrating. Life time mechanic.

Some may say "it only shows one" and you would be correct, but to list the description as "LH RH Each Front for Frontier", and at the price for the ONE loaded strut assembly, it SEEMED like a set of them. I actually got BOTH fronts from another vendor (different brand of course) for less than the price of this one strut. I'm NOT knocking quality, just the description saying EACH front for frontier. Be advised, this is for ONE strut assembly.

I replaced left and right sides with this strut. one strut has been on for a year and I just replaced the other, the steering wheel is centered PERFECTLY, good quality
