My truck 09 expedition was having an intermittent issue with the bank 2 vct over retarding, I have purchased many trq products and always been satisfied so I ordered this set because they were a bit cheaper than motorcraft. My buddy, a mechanic and I took the valve covers off, put these solenoids in and put new gaskets on the valve covers, cleared the pcm, although it didn’t have codes to begin with. On start up the truck ran horrible and it actually ran well before. I tried to drive around for 50 miles and there were constant over retarded codes on both banks and at the end of my driving I could not even drive through a parking lot the solenoids retarded the timing so bad my truck stalled every time I tried to move, I had to unplug both solenoids and now it’s running perfect with them unplugged but my gas mileage has gone from 16.5 mpg to 11mpg and we spent 3 hours replacing these to have my truck worse off than it was before replacement, very dissatisfied
