I shot for a few hours with this release, I noticed (because of the shape of the release) that 90% of the draw weight was being pulled by my index finger. I shoot just over 70lbs. I wouldn’t get this button. By no means is it a bad release, I just don’t like the way it feels in my hand, for my setup.

I tried 5+ releases, including some twice the price. The simplicity of this one is part of its brilliance. Press and hold the button to open, let go and it closes. No extra steps needed to attach it to your bow. It’s comfortable and I’ve improved my shooting .

Shot roughly 100 or so times at this point. Switching from wrist release this greatly improved my shot. No showing em any evidence of wear to D ring. Would recommend.

I’ve been shooting archery about 20 years, however this is my first attempt at a hand held. I like it aside from two things. There a grooves in the front that dig in and cause soreness after a long shooting session (I’m sure they are there to help the release not slip). This release has been tearing up my d loop super fast, like 100 maybe 150 arrows and it’s fraying already. My old caliper release I could use the same d loop usually a season or more replacing it because I figured I should not because I thought it was going to break

Right out of the box I really liked this release, fits well in my hand. I shot one group of 6 arrows at 25 yards last night to check it out. It really helped get my group much closer than my old wrist release. The reason I am only giving this 4 stars is because I have never shot a nock on release or one of the expensive carters. BUT, this is way better than my old caliper style wrist release. For the price point I think this is a good investment for the average archer.

I just got this 3 finger thumb release and I am blown away. It's excellent, build quality is spot on. I may get a lot of flack for this, but the archery community can be a bit insane. If you are good, you can shoot a 300 score with this release, you can shoot a animal with this release. Best of all, it doesn't cost $300. Don't feel it's a inferior product, unless you are maybe on the pro stage and need a certain level of customizing that this cannot offer. I've been shooting for 30 years, I've seen many changes in the archery industry. Some are driven by companies trying to make you think you'll shoot better with a certain product. Some are driven by the top pros sponsored or by social media influencers of these products. This is the best release I've shot with. As a disclaimer, I feel I could shoot equally as good with a old school Cobra release from 2 decades ago, but does that easily just go from your hand to your pocket? No it does not. You shoot the arrow, you are the accuracy. Buy things that are functionally refined enough to do the job at hand and save the rest of that money for future upgrades and better arrows. Cheers.
