I have had several different sizes of TruBind binding coils. They have all worked perfectly. They have come exactly as described.If you look at the picture of the product it shows a significantly smaller coil than a 30mm. 30mm will hold roughly 400 pages I believe. If you have a coil that is too big for your book then the pages will not turn easily it seems and the pages will not set well on the coils. Also the larger the coil the more 'slinky' like it behaves so if you put too few pages on your coil it tends to bend around. Similarly if you have a coil that is too small it means the pages will not turn easily.There are charts available that will tell you what size of coil you will need based on the number of pages you are binding.The ones I get are usually clear because then I can put any cover with it and the coils tend to recede into the background.Be sure you are buying the right size of pitch. There are two sizes readily available. My hole puncher does a 4 to 1 pitch so these work perfectly.
